This part of our website is dedicated to the post-abortive women and men that may have experienced this path. We are introducing to you a woman of God who loves the Lord and has herself walked down this path of life, and has also experienced and continues to experience Gods healing power as a post-abortive woman. This woman is my friend, a mentor, and sister in Christ who has contributed tremendously to the healing process in my own life as a post-abortive woman.
After requesting that she contribute to this cause at our site, Merle prayed and considered, and believes that the Lord would be pleased if she were to write on a regular basis. She states that her writings will include topics related to abortion that no one ever hears about: How our God can heal the pain, the shame, the regret, the guilt, the depression, the anger etc ... after an abortion. There will be resources in this section for you to help assist in the healing and recovery process in your life. Biography:
After being set free, healed and restored from the shame, guilt and regret of her personal abortion experience, Merle's goal through her poems and articles, is to encourage other women to experience and accept the same freedom that only Jesus Christ offers. Merle spends much of her time in research and study of abortion statistics, specifically as it relates to after abortion trauma. She is a volunteer with the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Tidewater, where she assists with special projects, and coordinates and facilitates small Bible study groups for women who hurt after abortion.
